When i want to boot.

Hi all,

i've installed Slackware 10.1,
But when i try to boot i get a whole screen with "99 99 99 99 99 99 99"
Whole Screen is full with it.

Is there somebody with a explanation ?

This is probably an error message from your lilo boot loader. You did not give enough information to determine exactly what the problem is. I suggest that you install grub instead of lilo because grub handles minor hardware incompatibilities better than lilo.

Have you tried booting with a boot disk?
Did this happen right after the install or after some tweaking?
Did you install LILO to the MBR or the root partition?

From my searching around on the internet I have found the problem to be related to your lilo config file.

This site might help some:
