The drunk lady used to work for Microsoft. That explains everything. Buy the poor soul another round.

(But, given where she's been, you might not want to go to ... oh, uhh, nevermind. Best not to take a wisecrack too far.)

Hey, I didn't want to start a pissing contest, just wanted to know how people would react if and when software Cos. would offer some of the most popular titles for Linux consumption.

I see your point. I pay bull crap prices for this on my Windows Laptop.

They have no desire to be compatible with Gnu/Linux and the software is so proprietary. Like Mission Impossible proprietary.
It self destructs like in the TV series (without the smoke).

I don't run it enough to care if it gets ported to Linux. I hate it with a passion and let the customer know the costs are going
be passed on to them also (along with labour).

So my personal view is NO. If the free software foundation cannot build something similar to the only Windows only software I actually use. No way I am buying their buggy version that is Linux compatible for hundreds of dollars.

But my needs and wants are special. Just like any-ones else’s. And I don't speak for the world.
So if it improves others lives. What the hell. I am all for it.

Reading the thread title. I was staying away because I was reading cos as because. I freaking hate shortening of names.
Shows laziness and assumptions that folks are mind readers. So what you know what you mean. Thinking like that can get
you hurt in real life on the border where I live. But I guess is safe for forums.

So that is my 2 pesos on this subject. Happy Trailz, Rok

No worries, I've just come back from the loo. I can't think of any "popular titles" that would interest me let alone be worth paying for. I can understand that a program like photoshop could be of interest to some but I don't know if your query involves such specialised cases.
