Mozilla is really old whereas RHEL5 is relatively new. Mozilla's later browser is Firefox and this is shipped with RHEL5. Are you actually using Mozilla or do you mean Mozilla Firefox? If the latter what version are you running?

Try starting fresh with the configs, rename ~/.mozilla to ~/.mozillaold or something and let it create a new one.

Sometimes addons may also make firefox to crash. If you have recently installed some addons then try removing /disabling it.

To start firefox without any addons
$firefox -safemode
