what wrong with my dMSN messenger

I have install dMSN correctly. BUt when I want to use it, it show me infomations bellow:

dMSN has failed to find a connection to the internet. I am working on HTTP proxy support at the moment. For more information, check the forum.

what should i do then? I do have a internet connection. And I don't think i am using a HTTP proxy. I am using LAN.

nei ho ma gexiaofei?

I've never heard of dMSN, but have you heard about Gaim? It's an fast application which works with ICQ, AOL, MSN and god know which more protocols it can handle. I don't know which distribution you are using, but most of them (at least the ones I use, Slackware, Redhat) are shipped with Gaim in the install disks. I think you could give it a shot.
Anyway, gaim homepage is here:

Good luck
