i'd like to see something such as director mx 2004 ported over. Im a college student that would like to practice my major in an opensource program. I can't afford the 1000+ price of director for practice and don't have a decent computer to run it anyways.
the google toolbar? Well a google searchbar is included with firefox, and if thats not good enough, there is a whole extension you can instlal that is the complete google bar
TMPGenc tool, would be nice if we could also add some kind of logo like virtual dub does for avi files ( logo.vdf)
ehhh Gordian Knot, DVD2AVI, DVDdecrypter etc. So basicly nice video editing/compressing tools.

What I would love to see under Linux is the following:
- DVD-Shrink (a port is better than wine...)
- ZSpoof or similar
- CompuPic ( it has a lot features I didn't see in any Linux ports... but to be true, I haven't seen many :-) )
- VirtualDub
Do you mean it sucks if somehow using it in Linux or generally? ... I used it in Win a lot... it did it work better than everything else... never had problems or so ...
