I would like software support from ALL vendors that suply hardware which now only has windows (and mac) support. I mean good supported native linux drivers for all hardware. Now THAT would be progress...

Yes, I keep dreaming on ;-)

I'd like to have Analog Devices to port their software on linux to interface with all their Digital Signal Processors.
I'm still stacked to windows for this reason...if some of you already know how to solve the problem please let me know.

See you

If the following software could get ported, my whole office could switch over to Linux:

Turbo Cad ( I know I could use Auto Cad, but who wants to pay $500 when I can get Turbo Cad for $30?)

QuickBooks (My Accountant can be slow - introducing GnuCash or whatever the Linux alternative is would be a loss)

On Screen TakeOff and MaxView

---- Can you tell I am in the structural engineering business?
