I don't think it be easy to install Gnome3 in Salix.
I suggest that you install Maté instead, as the Salix repos include a full Maté desktop, but only a few Gnome apps.
In a terminal, simply type:

sudo slapt-get --install-set mate
Then gdm will allow to choose between Xfce and Maté desktops.
Also, questions about Salix posted in the
Salix forum will get more attention by people able to help you with Salix.
PS I didn't see the answer from malekmustaq before posting, but I confirm that installing Maté on Salix is way easier -- And in this case systemd is out of the picture.
