What means this error?

Hello,

everytime when I install a packet or a program I get this following message, what means that:

dpkg: error processing ppp (--configure):
subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 1
Setting up screen (3.9.11-5woody1) ...

Errors were encountered while processing:
ppp
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

What can I do?

Thanks,
regards.

Try this from the shell:
Code:
sudo apt-get install -f
Or go to System-Administration-Synaptic and on the left side should be option Fix broken packages - Apply
