What Linux OS to use on my IBM eServer xSeries 226?

Hello.

I know 'Boo' about Linux but love the 'free-spirit' atmosphere surrounding it.

My question is this: I have an IBM eServer xSeries 226 server. I'm pretty sure I need the 'for x86' version of Linux. But which one? SUZE?

Also, I am considering purchasing a version 9.0 version of SUZE Enterprise Server. Bad move? If not; Would going for the 10.0 version be even a 'better' move. (I intend to use the server primarily for Web/Blog hosting.

Thank you.

(I really *do* like what I'm seeing about Linux.)

use whatever you want. the x226 isn't massively new, but it'll still handle any distro you want to use.
