what kind of virtualization software is good for small size company?
 
hi,
what kind of virtualization software is good for small size company? we have 3 old dell servers running linux, we want to get one powerfull server and running virtual servers on it.
any recommendations except vmware?

xen?

I find the idea of one server a bit risky, btw. I'd at least try for
two and do load-balancing and/or fail-over set-up. Even with a great
SLA with whoever your hardware provider will be ... how long can you
guys do without any of the services provided by the three current
boxes? Just a bit of food for thought.

I'm absolutely agree your point, actually right now , one of our oracle box is down, but the IT manager only care the budget so...
