Question What is your favorite, relatively unknown, application for linux?

Lets try and list some good, unknown softwares, so that people might find something new and exciting to use.

For example, I mainly work on security auditing and pen testing. Some softwares I find invaluable, and some possibly unknown, are:

kismet - wifi scanner and sniffer
ngrep - network sniffer with grep capabilities
hping3 - packet crafting
nikto - vulnerability scanning
httrack - download an entire website
airmon - wifi sniffing/cracking utils
metasploit - vulnerability scanning and exploit
nexpose - vulnerability scanning
zbarimg - translate barcode images
yakuake - drop down terminal like in quake
tiger - security audit scripts
ettercap - network sniffer and analyzer
cracklib - password cracking library
macchanger - mac address spoofing
net activity viewer - gui to netstat
fpaste - paste from command line to fedora pastebin
scapy - packet crafter
gnome do - quick access menu
rapidsvn - good svn frontend
liferea - rss reader
dillo - fast web browser
firefox addons ( adblock plus, firebug, tamper data, html validator, foxy proxy, better privacy, noscript )

Do you have any unknown, new, unpopular software?

dillo is kinda famous, being that it comes with DSL, I like it too^^.
I also like:
aria2c: a CLI download program supporting the bittorrent protocol
mew: an emacs mail client (very fast and extremely customizable)
sawfish: even though this one is/was supposed to be famous, being that it was used by the Gnome Desktop Environment before being replace by metacity, apparently very few people use it now. It's a very customizable (in lisp!) lightweight window manager.

Cool apps. I would agree -- Sawfish was at one time very popular, being that it was the default wm for gnome... but not so much anymore. Thanks for the input.

Anyone else?
