what is the "sticky notes" option in XFCE pop-up notes?

In the XFCE yellow pop-up notes (XFCE4-notes), there is a "sticky window" option. I have not been able to figure out what it's for, either by searching or by trying it to see what happens--it doesn't do anything that I can see. It presumably isn't responsible for making the note remain on the screen when you click out, because that's what the "always on top" option immediately below "sticky window" does.

Never mind, I finally found it myself. From an Xfce bugzilla page, in case anyone wants to see:
https://bugzilla.xfce.org/show_bug.cgi?id=8586

Quote:
What should happen: The notes window should always show up on the current desktop when "Sticky Window" is set.
