what is the maximum number of bytes is possible to send from a udp socket?


Hi all,
I am created one udp socket. i want to send the data(bytes) to another PC.
i need to send 614400 bytes of data. while sending it saying error like
" message is too long ". so what is the maximum possible data can i send from a socket?

For UDP its 65535 bytes

That is a design. We use a before tcp/ip implemention to set non-standard size packets. You are limited by your tcp/ip implementation.

If you want you could create any implemetation you want on both ends as long as all the systems between are not limted or a tunnel that supports it is created.
