your using fedora 9.... and what are you effectively after... GUI, CLI, web browser? I mean firefox I am fairly sure comes with it's own download manager, if you wanna do things via the cli, their is wget... personally I am more a fan of Opera for just about everything and that also has a download manager but that won't be in fedora by default... if you are after an installer, yum will check repositories and download things for you and can be make to install optional applications, as well as including third party repositories... so what are you after a download manager for?
