What is next best to REDHAT

Hi,

I have been using the REDHAT flavor of linux for the past 2 years and I'm pretty happy with their products. Unfortunatelly it looks like in the future its going to cost an arm and a leg to get a new version of the os from them unless you want to try their beta versions.

What would you guys recommend as a substitute for the REDHAT flavor....

Thanks

Something like Redhat.. hmmm.. any RPM based distro will do just fine.

Some of the most popular ones are: Mandrake, SuSe and many others. What your asking is really opinion based and has been asked/answered many many times in the Distribution forum, in many different ways.

Cheers.

Redhat is next best to a couple of distros.
Wrong question - Sorry!

Seriously - if you use Redhat in a commercial environment and just don't want to pay for their services - though luck.
For a home box anything is better than rpm's.
