what is new with kernel 2.6.5

So what is new with this one? Does it have better wireless support? Is there a page that describes this besides kernel.org?

I think the cahngelog is probably the best source of information:
http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kern...hangeLog-2.6.5

I think what he wants is something less technical you know... something for the "end-user" :)

Well the changelog is for the end user!!

there are a lot of ALSA changes in the 2.6.5 kernel,
plus you can see all the names of the "kernel hackers"( and their email addys) working to make things better for all of us........
not really that technical actually.

By the time I have finished reading the change-log, the next kernel version will already be out! Oh no that means I will be spending the rest of my life reading the kernel changes. I think I'll just not upgrade, it's much simpler.

Well if you are only interested in wireless developments just open the file in your browser and search for "wireless". If you only wnat to know about alsa developments then search for "alsa".
