What is JavaFX called in Fedora25 and how do I install it?

Hi,
I'm on Fedora 25 and would like to use a software that is not available as a package on Fedora.
It's Java based and called MediathekView and I have used it for many years on Debian before (I'm new to Fedora).

MediathekView depends on JavaFX version 8 and I am unsure about the packages to install.

My question is:
Is the Version of Java I have installed not Version 8 or is JavaFX something different then JavaJDK?
I have currently installed: java-1.8.0-openjdk 1.8.0.111-4.b16.fc25.x86_64

I searched for packages called *javafx* and *openjfx* but couldn't find anything.

So what packages to install to get JavaFX version 8?

Thanks!

Fedora does not come with any closed-source code, so it has its own version of Java and no JavaFX. Some-one has packaged JavaFX for Mageia and that may work:
http://www.rpmfind.net/linux/rpm2htm...-1.8.0-openjfx
Otherwise, you need to install the Oracle version of Java.

Thank you for your help.

I've tried the rpm for Mageia but it sadly doesn't recognize the javajdk-1.8.0 I allready have installed.
OracleJDK is not an option for me.

I just leave it as it is and just forget about running MediathekView.
Thanks anyway as your links pointed me in the right direction and I at least have now understood what openjfx and Orakles JDK are.
