GIMP is the GNU Image Manipulator (I think that's the full name) - it's one of the best graphics programs around (though many people prefer Photoshop or whatever if they've got a few hundred bucks to spare) and comes on almost every Linux distro and has for years. And it's in virtually every screenshot ever captured of a Linux system. *g* The libraries that were developed for it are used by many others apps. It can be installed on any Linux - with or without the Gimp, I believe, but has to already be on Mandrake. 'man/info gimp'
come on now futurist, I think that maybe you should try a little harder to find out some information for yuorself before asking your next question, you're continually asking very basic questions that you could solve in a matter of seconds by looking at google.
