what is good php editor in redhat linux?

emacs ..

but as for one that is good for specifically php i dunno do a google search for "linux php editor" and you should get some nice results.

vim (or gvim) is best for any scripting languages.I like vim !

I know it sounds strange, but check out Kwrite. It rules. I do alot of PHP everyday and prefer it over dreamweaver and html-kit. It does the coolest tracking of loop structures I have ever seen. I posted a thread about it a while ago.

I find kate is really good and will 'roll-up' functions so you can make your code a little more compact whilst you work on it.
