What is best Linux distro for 466/64?

I have a mid 1990’s computer with a 466 CPU and 64 Mb RAM, and Windows 95 operating system. I have installed SuSe 8.2 live eval and it looks great but it runs too slowly for everyday use on my computer. Can anyone suggest a current or recent Linux distribution that would run at a good speed on my computer? I use Mozilla Firefox as my preferred browser and it runs at a reasonably fast and very acceptable pace, which demonstrates that modern programs can run quickly on older computers if the programs are not too megabyte-rich for the computer.

A 466 CPU? Do you mean as in mhz? Well, any non bloated distro like Slackware or Debian would probably do fine. Just stay away from KDE or Gnome which are hogs and it should run fairly fast.
