what contents is in boot.b?


i noticed sometimes that a statement "install=/boot/boot.b" in lilo.conf. my question is, what contents is in the file, how and when the file will be used, what time it has been created and how to create it myself?

i just want to make a bootable hdd with full file system manually from another normal rh system. is it possible?
