Question What Chess Programm Should I Use??

Hi i want to know wich are the best Chess programms for linux?
What do you guys recommend??
Maybe Crafty? (=> Where are the Crafty opening books?? )
Ps: I didnīt place this thread in "Games" cause Chess is not "just" a game, is Much more than that, you know what i mean!
