what's the best PDF viewer ???

couldn't find anything on this doing a quick search, so I thought I'd post a new thread. There's a lot of good PDF viewers out there, xpdf, kghost, gnome pdf. What I do the most with PDF's is using figures from pdfs to put in a presentation, and it's not obvious to me how to do that with any of those viewers.

So, my question is, what's the best way to select a figure from a pdf, copy it, and paste it into a presentation or on an OO document? So far, I've not found a pdf program that comes close to Adobe Acrobat. Has anyone done this type of work???

If you're just viewing the PDF, you can use acroread--it's Adobe Acrobat Reader... but for Linux. If you want to edit the PDF, use KWord.

KPDF is a good pdf veiwing program, but if you realy want Adobe Acrobat Reader, then instal it. Adobe provides it a free version for linux which is easy to install and has a plugin to embed it in Firefox.

Yes, i have good xp with the Adobe version too... The first one had a bug when you maximized a browser with a pdf doc inside, but the new one works perf... And the you get the fancy new(ver. 7) Adobe load screen too ...
