What's an ...rpm.bin file?

Dumb question of the day: How do I handle an file like j2re-1_3_1_10-linux-i586.rpm.bin ? I don't recall having to deal with the .bin suffix.

The RPM is contained in a binary file. You run the BIN from a command line "./j2re-blah-blah.rpm.bin", agree to the license, and it will spit out the RPM.
