What's a good video editing program in Linux?
The only one I know of is Kdenlive, but it's flaky as hell, especially when doing pan/zoom or doing anything to do with transparency. There are also lot of limitations like the fact that you can't make something globally transparant, you can only make it transparent with another layer, so if you want to do 3 levels of transparency or you want multiple clips below to show behind it wont work. There's also the limitation that you can't do a video and audio fade at same time, and other weird limitations like that.
The part that frustrates me the most is there seems to be an invisible "border" when doing pan/zoom and if you move the clip/image beyond this border then it does not show. Lot of weird things like that.
There's got to be a better program, I'm open to suggestions. Perhaps something comparable to like Sony Vegas or Adobe Premiere.
