What's "svc" and how do I uninstall it? (qmail/daemontools)

I believe a while ago when I was installing qmail, I was required to install svc or something... and so I did..

Now I want to uninstall qmail and I'm trying to figure out what is svc...

So I do which svc and it leads me to /package/admin/daemontools/command/svc

So I remember that daemon tools was part of the installation...

So I need to uninstall daemon tools... But i'm not sure how it's starting... There's not script in /etc/init.d, but the damn thing is running (well svc is running)...

does anyone know how to uninstall svc/daemon tools?

Why not 3 or 4? It may be time to do a re-install anyway, & that would probably moot your question.

If it isn't broken - don't fix it.

Everything works fine I just want to uninstall some stuff and I really don't know much about that prog so I hoped someone would...

Besides, how do I do a reinstall on a production server?
