What's /sbin/postun_ldconfig?

Can somebody tell me what "/sbin/postun_ldconfig" is? I need it to install some software and have no idea where to find it or find any information on it.

Seems to me like it's a super-user executible utility.

Try while in root (#) typeing

cd /sbin/

then type ./postun_ldconfig

see what happens

maybe ./postun_ldconfig --help

would help too
