what's my problem of wlan sharing?

eth 0 is an external interface(not adsl )
eth 1 is a wireless interface. ip:
win xp configuration: gateway:
iptables are cleared

1.xp can connect wlan successfully but ping command will always time out.
2. how can I make my ubuntu as a nat router?

Are you sure about eth1 being a wireless interface. Aren't wireless interfaces shown as wlan0, wlan1, etc.?

sure it is.

i built the source code and inserted the new module.

nothing seems strange except that the default routing comes first.
