Whare are RPM Installations

Ive installed a number of RPM applications under Fedora 2.
I thought this would mean they would be listed in the Add/Remove Programs appp on the desktop, But they are not it only seems to contain the program sI installed when I installed Fedora

Why not ?

Try synaptic or Ximian Redcarpet if you prefer a GUI package management tool.

and you always have the option of the command line..

#rpm -qa |grep name

-q : query
-a : all packages installed on your system
name :name of the package you are checking if it's alredy installed on your comp

eg. #rpm -qa |grep mysql

check's if a mysql rpm is installed on your system.

ok thanks, i can see them with the RPM command

So Add/Remove Programs , is that something else or does it just not work

I guess it only for installing packages which came with your installation cd's..
