Wget - forcing binary mode?

I did a search on here and through google and could not find any relevant information...I did find out how to do this once but have since forgotten The reason I do this is some servers incorrectly report files as text when they are obviously binary....I recently downloaded a 500 meg file with a download manager that I believe uses wget as a frontend and the file was corrupted because it was downloaded in text mode.....and I've tried to download files directly with wget and had this issue come up occasionally.

Thanks for your help
