wget fails on password protected sites

How do I use wget to DL a site that sites behind a password protected site like hotmail? I'm not talking about sites that pop up a challenge window, but sites that have login/password inside the webpage itself?

There's not much (actually nothing) you can do about that. wget supports authentication via the "normal" .htaccess/.htpasswd method, but not those using session cookies.
