Wget & MnoGoSearch http request problem (size)

Hi everybody. I have a problem on one of our servers with Wget and MnoGoSearch, when requesting long html documents from the same server as wget is running from.

when executing for instance "# wget www-agripress-be" wget just sits at the prompt "Awaiting response". Nothing happens anymore. However performing "# wget www-agripress-beSLASHadminSLASHhome" returns succesful. I'm able to get the same results on other urls.. It would seem to be a size issue... Html documents above 15618 wget doesnt get..

The actual problem occurs also with mnoGoSearch (indexer).

BUT from another server everything is OK, how strange this might seem.

My idea is that there is a problem with a shared library (that both mno and wget use), but further than that my conclusion has not reached...

System Details:

REDHAT Linux s4.studioemma.com 2.4.21-32.0.1.ELsmp #1 SMP Tue May 17 17:52:23 EDT 2005 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux

Tried with several Wget versions, all the same...

Thanx for helping me out !

Patrick, Bruges Belgium.
