Weird font problem with GTK applications running in KDE
I'm having a very strange problem with text in GTK applications running in KDE (3.5). Very consistently random pieces of text show up in meaningless blobs of color. If I hover the mouse over the offending text it usually fixes itself instantly. I thought at first it was a problem with gtk because it only happened it gtk applications such as synaptic and eclipse.I reinstalled gtk - no help. I installed gnome and lo and behold it displays everything fine.
Here's a screenshot: exquisitenonsense.com/images/link/screenshot.jpg One odd thing in my Xorg.0.log: Warning: font renderer for ".pcf" already registered at priority 0I haven't been able to track down a good explanation of this. ------------ Running Xorg 6.9.0 on Debian Sarge kernel 2.6 KDE 3.5 if you need to know anything else just ask. ------------ Any help would be greatly appreciated. They are set at the wrong resolution. Go into your Kcontrol(control center) and there is a section for gtk fonts under "appearance". You need to play around with the settings there to get them set properly.
