weird cups / shared printers problem
I have a print server that allows printing from windows thru samba. all of a sudden I have 12 printers set up when I only have 3 configured. This is what I figured happened, the server was set to "automatically search for networked printers" or whatever and when it found them it set the queues up. they were shared from a G4 powerbook (os x)
First, they would just show up in the cups admin tools, so i turned off the sharing on the powerbook restarted cups and the printers went away and i was back to having 3 print queues.
now i seem to have the 3 queues that are listed in cups and the other printers shared as samba printers and i cant figure out how to get rid of them.
I have checked everywhere that I can think of to find them. the printer config applet only shows 3, cups only shows 3
I have not restarted samba at this point but it is going to restart tonight. I have reloaded the config file and have killed my smb process, which did not help.
Any help would be great
