weird avi format


Hi just got a avi file, which should be about 3 hrs long I get 17secs, which say get x3player from http://movie.x3player.com/

Can we convert this in anyway?

it don't have to be linux!

b4 someone says get the player, err its not free!!!!

It's a scam and just as bad as those fake releases with a 'DVSD' codec tag.

It would be easy to grep the header and abort the D/L. But that only makes sense once you've got the actual beginning of the file. Unfortunately with BT that may not be the case, AFAIK you can't force or prioritize it in that way.
