Webmin issues.. Cannot find any good resolution

I am running Mepis, and after installing Apache I decided to put in webmin,I get this error
"Failed to determine Webmin root from SERVER_ROOT, SCRIPT_FILENAME or the full command line"
and am not sure what it means, if someone could tell me or direct me in the right direction, I would truly appreciate it , thanks
