Question webmin installation on Knoppix 3.6

I am going to install webmin on my Knoppix 3.6 .And I downloaded the webmin rpm format setup file .Then I use command alien to convert the .rpm format to .deb cause Knoppix doesn't support .rpm package.
At last,I use dpkg -i command to install webmin and It seems work. But when I try to connect the webmin on web browser,I can't connecto to the server.
Do you guys have same experience or any ideas? Thanks so much in advance.

Best Wishes,
