That really depends on what you want to do. If you want to connect with other people, then something like GnomeMeeting or GAIM -VV might do the trick. If it is something else, you'll need to tell us what you want to do.
Is Gaim-vv compatible with Yahoo Messenger? I'd like to be able to use my webcam so that Y! contacts can see me. Will Gnomemeeting be suitable for that? Any other suggestions? Thanks.
I think Gaim -vv is going to be the way to go here. Gnomemeeting doesn't work with Yahoo (or any other IM environment for that matter). Althougth I've never used Gaim -vv, regular Gaim does work quite nicely with Yahoo. The only probelm is that Yahoo occaisionally changes some of their standards and it can take the Gaim crew a little while to catch up.
