Is there some open source project that allows you to use a web page on the same machine as the squid proxy to open up webpages? For instance, the page would have a box for the address, you put
www.google.com, and it brings up the website using squid as the proxy. I know you can set the squid ip/port in the browser options, but I was wondering if its possible to do it through a webpage.
I tried doing
http://squid-server:3281/google.com, but the squid server proxy me a page saying invalid address. Tried a view other variations of this, but no luck.
