Web design apps

Hello

I am searching for web design programs, like Quanta or Dreamweaver on Win, for linux of course.

I been all over sourceforge but couldn't find anything good.

Does anyone know of some good (perhaps GNU) programs for web development?

Thnx

There's really not much choice out there as far as I can see. There's Mozilla Composer, but it's supposedly not all that good. Just go for the good ol' fashioned way -- use Quanta or kwrite, and start writin'. It's really not that hard, really!

You just need to get started with decent tutorial(s); two good ones:

Quanta is written natively for linux...it is part of kde, but it can be installed seperately. Another one that is recommended often is bluefish.

Quanta:

Bluefish:

Give NVU a try. It is pretty good and one of the few options out there.
