Web Based Daily Activity Tracker/Report tool

Kindly suggest me any web based daily activity/tracker tool for small organization.

There are a slew of them out there, what criteria do you need it to support on the backend? What does it need to track specifically on the front end? Do you want tickets, timesheet, etc?

Basically i want to track new project assignment, old project status, current status of the project, total time taken to complete the project by the project manager and the sales person etc. Kindly help me asap. i am eagerly waiting for your affirmative response. Thanks in advance.
