Web Analyzer/Syslog Analyzer

Does anyone have any suggestions for a well-rounded syslog analyzer? It would need to be installed on RHEL 5.x now and probably RHEL 6.x later on, and compatible with MySQL.

I found a few similar threads but they were a few years old, so I thought I would post a new thread, in the hopes that older options had been updated or some newer(better) options were available.

Can you explain what you expect to fall out of the "analysis"?
Is this for graphing, reporting, alerting, ... ?

Thumbs up Log Analyzer

Give LogZilla a spin. http://www.logzilla.pro
Also, here's a WP from Cisco on "Building Large Scale Syslog Management Solutions" which lists several tools (including LogZilla).

loganalyzer config.php edits

If I post my config.php file, would someone be able to tell me what needs to be changed? I am getting an error when I try to pull up the web-GUI. The error says: No syslog records found - Could not find the configured database. I"m not sure which options need to be set for the database to be seen. I know there is no data in the db yet. Could that be part of the problem?

Sorry...this would be for LogAnalyzer. I'm trying to use that tool in conjunction with a MySQL database to search syslog-NG logs.
