way to edit .mov created on mac?
I have a .mov file which was created on a mac. This .mov contains a slide show of several hundred pictures against which 5 songs have been applied. However, there is some sort of marker (showing when played on a mac) that the 2 of the 5 songs are not "authorized on this mac". I was thinking of editing it in something such as Kino and ripping out the sound track and applying a set of DRM free songs. However, Kino hangs while importing. When trying to transcode (to .avi, .mp4 or .mpeg) with either mencoder or ffmpeg, with the intent to edit those files, those aforementioned programs will only transcode up to the spot where the 'unauthorized' music is inserted. On the command line, the frame counters increase but the files size remains.
Does anyone have a suggestion concerning either software which might handle the apple 'unauthorized' marker or a method to preserve the pictures and add new music? Thanks
