wav sound not working

Hi everybody,

I have solved almost all my sound troubles, except i cannot get any wav sound.

I can play a cd, get the bell system but any other sound remains silent.

I tried several times to get a wav sound using Totem but only get the image and not the sound.

Of course all mixers are up , files associations are done.

If i test the sound using kde control panel, i get the same result (this time without any image of course)... any idea ??

I'm using Alsa to get the onboard sound system working, maybe i should change something to let totem know i'm using it... but what ??

Thanks 8-)

Dont know Totem - if you have XMMS available I might be able to help.
