Watching TV off Ceton InfiniTV Eth6 Over The Internet

Hi All,

So right now at home I have a Ceton InfiniTV Eth6 network tuner. I currently use a windows machine running Windows Media Center to act as my DVR with media extenders all over my home. It works well, but the only thing I can't get is live streaming over the internet. I tried using Remote Potato, but it is very buggy and the server fails too often for it to be useful. So I was wondering if I could leverage my Linux machine to do this.

Basically what I'd like to do is be able to view a live TV stream over a web browser that would be compatible with my android phone and any modern browser on a PC. (I'd also like to have it behind an authentication wall but one step at a time).

Has anyone set anything like this up? Got any pointers? Thanks in advance.
