warning: trouble injecting bounce message, will try later


i have installed qmail on redhat linux 8.0
it was working perfectly all right..
but now unable to send mail...
the error found in /vaq/log/qmail/send is:

warning: trouble injecting bounce message, will try late
pl suggest any soultion

You've probably got the wrong permissions on the queue or its corrupt:

did you paste that into your terminal?


What is your dns name? I checked mail.aero.com.pk

It may not be on SPAMCOP.. but it's on quite a few others.

thanks for reply ...again..
i have checked it on spamhaus, cbl, and whatismyipaddress..
it shows nothing i mean no ip blocking...
but now its "send" log shows:
Sorry,_I_wasn't_able_to_establish_an_SMTP_connection._(#4.4.1)
i am stucked ... what should i suppose to do...pl help me ..
iam doing telnet to 25 and 110 properly..
sending and receiving mail locally ..
also receiving mail from outside...
but unable to send mail remotely...
i have run the script "qfixq" and it looks smooth..
pl pl help me..

Can you telnet from your box?, as in, it could be your firewall blocking you, or your ISP doing it. (its common in AU).

Or, the host could be down..

dnsmx ksts.seed.net.tw

Would tell you if qmail could connect to it.

I'm basically just troubleshooting and googling though dude, don't have a qmail setup or any experience with it..

Does look like the queue is full though..

Test yourself to see if you are an open relay: http://www.abuse.net/relay.html.
Get qqtool.pl from cpan if you don't have it already.
