warcraft 3 with winex OR neverwinter nights native please look here

I got both of these working but they both have something in common. Flickering. Neverwinter nights was pretty bad, they floors flickered alot. Warcraft 3 with the lighting turned down isnt to bad, but still annoying. I have a radeon card and i think thats why.

If you play these games can you tell me your experience and which card you use. ati, nvidia, other.

thank you

My spec....

Soltek sl75drv5 motherboard
AMD XP1800+ processor
256M RAM
NVIDIA GeForce 4 MX440se graphics

Warcraft3 works without flicker on ML9.0 and ML9.1, using winex3 and point-2-play.

I did try it with a hercules KyroII 64M graphics card, but it was awfull - to the point of being unplayable - in that it flickered, was jumpy with the mouse.

I think transgaming recommend an Nvidia card for these games.

Well, returned the ati 9000 ($93 with tax), bought a gf 4 ti 4200 128mb from this pc store by my house used for $75. This card is nuts. Glxgears getting...

28834 frames in 5.0 seconds = 5766.800 FPS
34859 frames in 5.0 seconds = 6971.800 FPS
34850 frames in 5.0 seconds = 6970.000 FPS
34896 frames in 5.0 seconds = 6979.200 FPS

radeon was gettting 2100 only. I havent added any settings yet, just loaded glx so far.

Warcraft 3 plays perfectly. Going to install cs right now. finally a real card, lol.

GeForce 4 DDR 128MB SE with TV Out
What a freakin mouthful.

Anyway, that card was 60 bucks from some store on

Amazing card, haven't done the glxgears thing yet, but NeverWinter nights works like a champ.

I used the Ravage installer, no windows needed, and things run as slick as Slack.
