L.S.
I have a new challenge today.
From Aldi, I bought a Medion P82001/MD85925 digital notepad.
A little googling found me this link:
http://littlethorpe.net/tptrn/articl...ablet-in-linux
From which I understand that the device is simply a rebranded Waltop tablet device.
A little unscientific examination of the files it produces after a little doodling on the paper pad confirms this, the .top files it produces contain the word 'WALTOP'.
Now, my challenge is to read these files
I found
VectorPen but they only offer a demo, and a full version license at $15.
Certainly not a lot of money, but if at all possible I would like to avoid going that way. For one, I do not like Java based applications because of their troublesome nature (large, slow, crashy, won't run properly, requires version XX, take your pick).
I suppose, if all else fails I can plant the Windows-only software that was delivered with the device in a Wine environment.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thank you in advance.
