Wanted: Ogg-player using /dev/dsp1

I'm using the ALSA on a kubuntu 5.10 with two soundcards. The build in soundcard /dev/dsp0 and an Terratec Aureon 5.1 USB Soundcard /dev/dsp1. The external USB soundcard work well but I can't find any ogg/mp3-player able to use the /dev/dsp1. At Audacity for example I can chose the devive at the settings, but I can't find any feature like that in those programms I've checked so far (JuK, amaroK, XMMS).

Does anyone know about a practical musikplayer with that feature?

Or is there any way to make my ALSA redirecting the sound to /dev/dsp1?

/dev/dsp is a oss device name do not use it. run your apps in alsa mode. But if you install ALSA oss support you will get /dev/dsp*

IT IS BEST TO USE ALSA DEVICE NAMES!

Reading ogg123 man i founded that :

alsa09 Advanced Linux Sound Architecture.
Options:

card Sound card number. (Default = 0)

dev Device number on the sound card. (Default = 0)

buf_size
Override the default buffer size (in bytes).

Could work for you, good luck.

well, ogg123 seems to do what I described above. It's a funny tool for the terminal, but it replaces not my JuK or even amaroK. What I did not mentioned was: I'm looking for a grafical software solution. but thanX 4 that tip anyhow, it's a funny thing to show others what linux is able to to with the terminal...

still searching for a better solution...
