Want to use fbgrab on Slackware 64 bit system

The framebuffer screenshot grabber appears to be exactly what I need
to provide someone with clear instructions on how to do several things.

The program appears to be a 32 bit program and requires the following:

libpng - in /usr/lib64
libz - in /usr/lib64
splint

Splint is a 32 bit program in both binary and source code form. If I
compile splint under my 64 bit system, will that create a 64 bit
program or just 32? Will it work properly on my 64 bit machine?

I also think fbgrab is a 32 bit program; will it work properly on
my 64 bit machine?

fbcat seems to be some sort of wrapper for fbgrab. Downloaded it from some google
repository. Seems short on explanation of how to use it and the normal .configure,
make, make install routine is somewhat lacking. Their website is also very short
on explanations on how to install/use.

If there is no ready-made package or SlackBuild for it, grab the source, then get src2pkg and use that on it.

hi

once you install fbcat...command /usr/bin/fbgrab is installed

at the console I use this assuming you have logged into 2 consoles and want to take a snap of control/alt/f1 console from number f2

Code:
fgbrab -C0 filename.png
man fbgrab is available
